Faith Flame App

INTRODUCTION

1.1. LYKOS DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARES LTDA, registered under CNPJ No. 46.934.569/0001-25, is responsible for the mobile application, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store ("App"), here named "Flame of Faith", which consists of an interactive and personal Bible study tool ("User" or "you").

1.2. The Flame of Faith App is a platform through which the User can access the following tools: a Bible study assistant based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), a Quiz system for knowledge testing, a Daily Reading feature for verses, and a gamification system to encourage daily engagement, including the "Flame of Faith" (streak).

1.3. These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy contained herein ("Terms") must be observed by Users who use the solutions currently offered by the Flame of Faith App and all those that may be developed to integrate the App ("our Solutions").

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND USE

2.1. You may access and view these Terms at any time through a link available in the App.

2.2. These Terms may be updated at any time by LYKOS DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARES LTDA, upon notice in the App or by email, if you have opted to receive our communications.

2.3. To access our Solutions, you must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.

2.4. To use our Solutions, you must: (i) provide, at a minimum, a valid email and create a password for a registered account, or opt for anonymous access; (ii) provide only true information, being solely responsible for any damage or loss resulting from incorrect information; (iii) refrain from making available in our Solutions any illicit content, contrary to morals, or that may violate the rights of third parties; (iv) use our Solutions only for lawful purposes, exempting the Flame of Faith App from any and all liability for damages or losses resulting from its use.

2.5. The Flame of Faith App does not request your password or financial information by email or messaging apps under any circumstances.

ACCEPTANCE

3.1. By completing your Registration, checking the checkbox related to the Terms, and clicking the button to accept them, you adhere to these Terms freely, expressly, consciously, and informedly. You cannot and should not use our Solutions if you do not agree with these Terms.

3.2. You understand that consent can be revoked at any time by sending a request to the email contact@lykoscompany.com, which will result in the deletion of your data, except for that which we are legally obligated to maintain.

SPECIFIC APP RULES

4.1. The App has a "Free Version", with features available for free, and a "Paid Version" (Premium), with exclusive features and benefits. You need an active subscription to use the features of the Paid Version.

4.2. The features of the Free Version may include, but are not limited to: a limited number of messages in the AI chat per day, a limited number of Daily Reading generations, and the display of ads. The Paid Version (Premium) offers unlimited access to these features, removes all ads, and grants benefits in the gamification system (XP).

4.3. Subscriptions to the Paid Version are managed, billed, and renewed through your account on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. To cancel automatic renewal or request a refund, you must use the subscription management tools of your respective app store.

4.4. The Flame of Faith App is constantly evolving and may unilaterally change which features are available in the Free Version and the Paid Version.

4.5. After the legal withdrawal period (as defined by local legislation and the policies of the app stores), the subscription to the Paid Version is irrevocable. If you cancel the subscription during the contracted period, you will not receive a refund, either in whole or in part.

DURATION AND TERMINATION

5.1. Access to our Solutions is granted for an indefinite period. LYKOS DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARES LTDA may, however, suspend or interrupt access to the Solutions at any time and without prior notice.

5.2. LYKOS DESENVOLVimento DE SOFTWARES LTDA may unilaterally terminate the access or delete users who violate these Terms of Use or use the platform for illicit purposes.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

6.1. The Flame of Faith App uses an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to generate responses and content. The information provided by the AI is for study and assistance purposes and should not be considered infallible theological, pastoral, or legal advice. The AI may generate inaccurate or incomplete information. You are responsible for verifying the information with reliable biblical and theological sources.

6.2. Due to technical and operational issues, we cannot guarantee the total availability and infallibility of our Solutions. The Flame of Faith App will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damages resulting from the interruption of access or from malfunctions.

6.3. We do not guarantee the absence of viruses or other harmful elements in our Solutions, disclaiming any responsibility for damages and losses that may arise from such elements.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1. You are the owner of all content you insert into the Solutions (such as custom quiz topics). You declare that such content is of your own creation or that you have the necessary licenses to use it.

7.2. LYKOS DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARES LTDA is the exclusive owner of all rights to the visual aspects, source code, design, and other elements that characterize the Solutions. Any type of copying, modification, reverse engineering, or redistribution of the Solutions is strictly prohibited.

DATA PROTECTION POLICY

8.1. The Flame of Faith App respects your privacy. All collection and processing of personal data is intended to allow the use of the Solutions and improve your experience.

8.2. Information that is collected and retention time:

  • Registration Data: Email (for registered accounts), unique User ID. -> Kept as long as the account exists.
  • Progress and Usage Data: Chat history (questions and answers), favorited verses, saved quiz questions, gamification statistics (XP, level, coins, Flame of Faith data). -> Kept as long as the account exists to preserve your progress.
  • Configuration Data: Your preferences for language, tone, and size of AI responses. -> Kept as long as the account exists.
  • Diagnostic and Performance Data (Anonymous): App crash and performance data for us to identify and fix problems. -> May be kept anonymously indefinitely.
  • Terms Acceptance Information: IP and date/time of acceptance. -> Kept as long as the account exists for legal purposes.

8.3. How the information is used: To provide the app's features, personalize your experience, manage your account, improve our services, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.

8.4. Processing by Artificial Intelligence: To provide chat responses and generate questions for the Quiz, your questions and conversation history are processed by a third-party AI service (Google Gemini API). This processing is essential for the App's operation. Do not send sensitive personal information in the chat.

8.5. Sharing of Information: We will not share your personal information with third parties, except with essential service providers for the app's operation (Google for authentication, database, and AI; Apple/Google for payment processing; ad networks including Google Ads and Facebook/Meta to display and optimize advertising in the free version; and analytics partners to improve the app) and as required by law. Usage events (such as registration, onboarding completion, and purchases) are sent to Facebook/Meta to optimize our advertising campaigns. You can opt-out of data sharing with advertising partners in the app Settings.

8.6. Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, and request the deletion of your personal information. To exercise your rights, please contact us via email at contact@lykoscompany.com.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and the court of your city of residence shall be competent to settle any disputes.
